Spring Break Wind-Up, featuring bands NOCONA, The HawtThorns, and Desert Hollow

Encore Park is excited to partner with Mule Kick Records to present Spring Break Wind-Up, featuring bands NOCONA, The HawtThorns, and Desert Hollow! Join us in the 508 Amphitheater at Encore Park and bring the kids (who get in free!). BYOB (small coolers only) and $20 on the door for adults. Can't wait to see you there!

NOCONA is a rock band who draw their roots from Country, Folk, Punk, Rock and psychedelia. Known for taking the psychedelia of the 13th Floor Elevators and mashing it up with the Bakersfield sound—Roky and Buck; Love and the Burrito Brothers, their previous albums, Nocona and Long Gone Song drew rave reviews and the band has played some of the biggest festivals in America – Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, and Stagecoach.

An Americana band whose sun-kissed songwriting, versatile guitar work and such vocal harmonies evoke the California coastline as much as the Bible Belt countryside, The HawtThorns are rooted in the collaborative chemistry of KP and Johnny Hawthorn. That chemistry reaches a new peak with Tarot Cards & Shooting Stars, the pair’s second collection of country-rockers, acoustic ballads and southern soul songs. The new album is currently climbing the Americana and roots radio charts.

The name Desert Hollow is a definition for the geographical and artistic influences of this farm fresh, California based duo. Xander Hitzig and Nicole Olney team up in love and music. They share a love for early traditional folk and bluegrass but are equally passionate about indie-folk and alt country music.
